1. Tell us about your big break – that holy shit moment in your career.
Getting a job at Fairfax when I was 21 and then Acp Magazines as a roving photographer, young, naïve and completely out of my depth. Very grateful to have travelled all around Australia and overseas and worked with some amazing people, so many pinch me moments.
2. Where do you get most inspired?
Nature. Texture, tones and natural light. Any beach lake or bush track.
3. What are your two top picks from Atley.co?
Ceramic Incense burner and the Leather and Oak Magazine Rack.

4. One thing that makes you truly happy?
My three beautiful crazy babies
5. How do you deal with work stress?
Ah good question. Work stuff doesn’t stress me too much (saying no to people is my biggest stress) … though every problem has a solution. Say things calmly in the moment. Keep a cool head. If the work is too much, chip away, do the best you can and then let go.
Also running helps me clear my mind.
6. Name a book or movie everyone should read or watch? And why?
So many ! But Tina Feys Bossypants (funny and thought provoking) and the movie Goonies (classic nostalgia) comes to mind .
7. What annoys you most? And why?
Narrow mindedness
8. Have you ever had a nickname? What is it?

9. If you could only play one music album for the rest of your life what would it be?

10. Do you live by any piece of advice or motto?
Don’t point the finger, find the solution.
11. How should we handle someone copying our style?
It’s possibly a compliment, take a moment to reflect on it and maybe move onto the next thing . Don’t dwell, use your creativity and charge ahead.
12. What’s your favourite Friday night tipple?
Half a shot of Mezcal, one shot of tequila, fever tree ginger beer, and lots of ice.

15. What’s your advice for aspiring designers and stylists that you inspire?
Don’t become a slave to what you think you should be or do or create. Try to carve out something that is unique to you, because of you and for you.
16. Why do you feel now (as a community), it is really important to get behind and support locally made?
It's truly so important. It’s on your doorstep, it’s accessible and sustainable . Supporting local brings growth, and an outpouring of creativity, which leads to a greater marketplace, ensuring more jobs in creative industries and inspiring the next generation of makers and creators .
